WAREHOUSE DISTRICT. Set in a beautifully renovated building in the Warehouse District, Blue Point Grille is a newer entry on the restaurant scene, but it already has a loyal following. Awash in blue, the elegant interior provides a not-so-subtle reminder of the restaurant's name. The kitchen finds the freshest fish, shellfish and lobster and prepares them in innovative ways, including mussels in tomatoes and garlic and notoriously sinful lobster-mashed potatoes. GATEWAY DISTRICT. At this popular eatery, you'll often find a mix of people enjoying live blues, cold drinks, and a fun but relaxed atmosphere. You'll feel like you're in the French Quarter as you join in to toss back fish fritters, boiled crawfish, grits and collards, and even beignets.
